Cooper opens its 1st urgent care center in Burlington County

“Cooper’s Urgent Care Center in Cinnaminson will provide a much-needed, convenient service to local residents who need immediate medical treatment,” said Dr. Adrienne Kirby, CEO of Cooper. “As the leading academic tertiary care health system in the region, we are happy to be able to bring our expertise in urgent care to Burlington County residents and complement our existing services in the county.”

The center accepts walk-ins and has board-certified emergency medicine physicians as well as X-ray services, all at the same location.

“Unlike other models, Cooper Urgent Care Centers are staffed with our board-certified emergency medicine physicians, and they are the same physicians who see patients in our emergency department at Cooper University Hospital. This high level of care is what sets us apart, as these doctors are trained to treat a wide variety of injuries and illnesses that present in an emergency setting,” said Dr. James Flowers, Medical Director, Cooper Urgent Care Centers.

The center will begin seeing patients Monday.
