Cushman Wakefield announces lease of Clifton property

Manufacturer will occupy entirety of River Road facility.A global manufacturer has leased an entire building on River Road, in Clifton, and will occupy the 230,953 square feet of office and warehouse space at the property, according to an announcement from Cushman & Wakefield, which has offices in East Rutherford.

The building at 261 River Road was built in 2004 as a corporate office and distribution center. The current tenant’s lease was expiring, according to Stephen Elman, who led a team of Cushman brokers in representing landlord The Morris Cos. The building’s location provides access to routes 3 and 21, and it offers corporate office space, warehouse and office facilities, and warehouse and distribution space, according to Cushman.

The tenant, who was not identified, was represented by Studley. Terms were not disclosed.
