Centra – a 110,000-square-foot Class-A office building located in Metropark – has sold, Cushman & Wakefield announced Dec. 29.

The firm’s Andrew Merin, David Bernhaut, Gary Gabriel, Ryan Larkin, Kevin Carton and Todd Elfand represented Hampshire Management Co., the seller.

According to Cushman & Wakefield, Opal Holdings LLC was the buyer. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Current tenants at the five-story building at 186 Wood Ave. S. include JP Morgan Chase, Mass Mutual Life Insurance and Grant Thornton.

Centra was recently redeveloped, according to the real estate services firm, and is LEED Platinum certified. Amenities include a full-service cafeteria, fitness center, conference center and full-time, onsite concierge and security.

“We’re pleased to have found the right buyer for this exceptional investment opportunity,” said Merin, who was also part of the team that handled the sale of Riverview Office Center in Hackensack.

“Centra is a well-performing, trophy asset that is anchored by high-quality tenants and is strategically located in the area’s sought-after Central Business District, making it an outstanding investment for the new owners,” he said.
