Cushman & Wakefield said Jan. 26 that the real estate services firm arranged a 41,768-square-foot lease on behalf of Englert Inc. at Tower Center in East Brunswick.
Englert, a privately held firm that provides metal roof and gutter solutions for residential and commercial companies, will relocate from Perth Amboy to the 23-story office tower in the 14-acre mixed-use complex in March 2021, utilizing the space as its new Class A office headquarters.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Sean Brady represented the tenant, while Newmark Knight Frank represented the owner, American Equity Partner.
“The search for Englert’s new office headquarters included properties in Metropark and the southeastern portion of the Interstate 287 Corridor, but the company ultimately chose the East Brunswick area,” Brady said.
Tower Center is currently undergoing a full building renovation, including a new amenities center on the 15th floor, which will consist of a state-of-the-art fitness center with a yoga studio, a social-centric tenant lounge, a co-working space, game room and a grab-and-go café with views of the New York City skyline. American Equity Partner, which recently acquired the property, also plans to introduce a shuttle service to the New Brunswick train station, an updated HVAC system and new LED lighting.
The adjacent 405-room Brunswick Hilton Hotel & Conference Center provides a variety of additional amenities, including a conference center, full-service restaurant, spa, pool, fitness center and Starbucks. Tower Center is situated immediately next door to a Holiday Inn Express & Suites and Marriott Residence Inn.
