The partnership with Pennsylvania-based Geisinger gets the CEO of AtlantiCare on the list (who says we overlook South Jersey?): “Geisinger is one of the most respected health care systems in the country; their systems are quality-oriented, they waited for years before they even looked at the New Jersey market, and they were able to come to an agreement with Dave Tilton and AtlantiCare to do this deal,” one source said. AtlantiCare’s mission is part of the reason: “They’ve established close to two dozen urgent care centers throughout their area — even outside their area — to help the population,” another said.
