Verisk acquires N.C. company; Quadrant HealthCom Inc. announces new publisher; Edison Memorial Tower contract awarded.

Verisk Analytics Inc., a Jersey City risk-information company, announced Thursday, it has closed its acquisition of Bloodhound Technologies Inc., a provider of real-time pre-adjudication claims editing for health care payers, based in Durham, N.C.

Quadrant HealthCom Inc. announced Thursday that Elizabeth Katz, director of medical communications for Neurology Reviews, has been named publisher.

A $2.4 million contract was awarded Thursday for the restoration of Edison Memorial Tower, in Edison State Park, to Astral Construction Services, of Bergenfield. The award was presented by DEP Commissioner Bob Martin and Edison Memorial Tower Corp. President Nancy Zerbe.
