MSO expands into New York; Highlands Bankcorp repays TARP; Linde expands Ohio production.

The Mutual Service Office Inc., based in Glen Rock, announced this week that its personal umbrella program has been approved in New York. The MSO Homeowners program previously was approved in the state.

Highlands Bancorp Inc., in Vernon, parent company of Highlands State Bank, announced Tuesday it has received preliminary approval to receive an investment of up to $6.9 million in the company’s preferred stock from the U.S. Treasury under the Small Business Lending Fund. The bank will use $5.6 million of the funding to redeem all of the outstanding shares of preferred stock issued to the Treasury under the TARP capital purchase program, with the balance used to increase the bank’s small-business lending.

Linde North America, in the Murray Hill section of New Providence, through one of its U.S. affiliates, will upgrade its supply network in the Midwest by significantly increasing production at its Delta, Ohio, air separation plant.

Salesforce.com, based in San Francisco, and D&B, in the Short Hills section of Millburn, announced Wednesday an agreement to make D&B the exclusive provider of company information on 200 million global businesses for Data.com. Financial terms were not disclosed.
