Solix expands campus; IMA names new chairman; Glowpoint completes service acquisition.

Solix Inc. announced Thursday it has completed an expansion of its headquarters at Lanidex Plaza West, in Parsippany. The company added 10,000 square feet of office space at 10 Lanidex Plaza West to the existing 56,000 square feet it occupies as the sole tenant of the 30 Lanidex Plaza West office building.
IMA, in Montvale, announced Thursday that Brian McGuire, Ph.D., CMA, CPA, will serve as chair of the board of directors for the 2011-12 fiscal year. Concurrently, McGuire will serve as chair of IMA’s Governance Committee. McGuire is associate dean and MBA director at the University of Southern Indiana.

Glowpoint Inc., in the Murray Hill section of New Providence, announced Thursday that it completed the transaction to acquire certain assets that Avaya used in its managed service for video offering. Glowpoint issued 769,049 common shares to Avaya as consideration for the assets. The assets acquired include telepresence and video conferencing endpoints, and network infrastructure.
