Avis Budget Group Inc., in Parsippany, announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, Avis Budget Car Rental LLC, closed $500 million of term-loan borrowings to repay approximately $420 million of term-loan borrowings and $75 million of senior notes at an annual interest rate 2 percentage points lower than the interest rate on the debt, generating $9 million of interest savings.

Lightway Solar America Inc., in the Iselin section of Woodbridge, today expanded a supply agreement with G&S Solar to provide 34 megawatts of solar modules, while G&S will purchase more than 122,000 panels from Lightway by December.

Choose New Jersey selected Thursday communications firm Baldwin & Obenauf Inc., in Bridgewater, as its communications partner to redevelop the New Jersey economic development brand and marketing strategy.
