Public offering priced; firm name change; sponsorship deal.

Pacira Pharmaceuticals Inc., in Parsippany, announced Wednesday the pricing of its public offering of 7 million shares of its common stock at $6.50 per share. All of the shares are newly issued and are being offered by Pacira, with expected net proceeds to Pacira of approximately $42.3 million. Pacira has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1.05 million shares to cover over-allotments, if any.
Management Dynamics, in East Rutherford, announced Tuesday it has changed its name to Amber Road. The change comes during a year of expansion, marked by a 40 percent growth in employees, a 325 percent increase in European bookings, and the opening of a flagship office in Tysons Corner, Va., the company said.

Novo Nordisk, in Plainsboro, and Chip Ganassi Racing Teams Inc. announced Tuesday that the two organizations have entered into a multiyear extension of their partnership. Novo Nordisk will remain the primary sponsor of the No. 83 Novo Nordisk Chip Ganassi Racing entry, driven by Charlie Kimball in the Izod IndyCar Series. Terms were not disclosed.
