Museum energy contract; $5.75 million in sales; drug patents confirmed.

GSH Group Inc., in the Pine Brook section of Montville, announced Wednesday a four-year energy management and maintenance contract with the Museum of Arts and Design, in New York. The contract will result in savings of 188 tons of carbon emissions annually.
Thomas McConnell and Kevin McCrann, of Marcus & Millichap, closed four transactions this past month, totaling $5.75 million, including an 11-unit apartment building located in Edgewater that sold for $1.25 million and a 15,000-square foot mixed-use building located in Passaic that sold for $1.38 million. They also orchestrated the sale of an apartment complex in Clifton, which sold for $1.6 million — one of the highest price-per-unit closings in the history of Clifton.

The Lightstone Group announced Wednesday that ERA Designs for Living signed a two-year lease extension for retail space at the Browntown Shopping Center, in Old Bridge. The real estate specialty company occupies 3,000 square feet in the 93,251-square-foot shopping center.
