Spinal cord injury grant; HouseMaster goes Green; new office in Mount Laurel.

The National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research of the U.S. Department of Education awarded a $2.28 million federal grant to Kessler Foundation, in West Orange, it announced Tuesday. The five-year grant funds the Northern New Jersey Spinal Cord Injury System, a cooperative effort of Kessler Foundation, Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, in Newark.

Prince Agri Products Inc., a subsidiary of Phibro Animal Health Corp., in Ridgefield Park, has acquired the intellectual property, including patents and trademarks, as well as manufacturing assets for Animate from Granco Minerals Inc. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed in Monday’s announcement.

GreenSaver, in Toronto, Ontario, announced Monday the acquisition of HouseMaster‘s Canadian franchise operations. HouseMaster, established in 1979 in Bound Brook, is North America’s oldest and one of the largest home inspection organizations, with 30 locations across Canada and more than 350 in the United States.

Avaya announced Tuesday it has acquired Sipera, a worldwide provider of communications solutions. Sipera will become a fully integrated part of Avaya, based in the Basking Ridge section of Bernards.

Colliers International‘s South Jersey office represented CoreTitle LLC in obtaining 3,580 square feet of office space at Bloom Court, in Mount Laurel, for the company’s new office.
