Equipment rental acquisition, multifamily sale, solar installation.

The equipment rental arm of Hertz Global Holdings Inc., in Park Ridge, announced Tuesday it has acquired construction and industrial equipment rental company Pioneer Equipment Rental LLC, in Ponca City, Okla., to expand its services and distribution network in the Midwest market. Terms were not disclosed.

Real estate broker Gebroe-Hammer Associates, in Livingston, announced Tuesday it has sold two mixed-use multifamily properties in Elizabeth for $3.48 million.

Commercial solar power systems provider Solis Partners, in Manasquan, announced Tuesday it has installed rooftop solar panels for roofing manufacturer Karnak Corp., in Clark, to reduce its production energy costs.
