NUS Consulting Group, in Park Ridge, announced Thursday it has acquired Viking Energy Management LLC, which specializes in risk management and energy procurement. Viking is based in Charlotte, N.C.

PTC Therapeutics Inc., in South Plainfield, and Genzyme, of Cambridge, Mass., announced Friday the restructuring of a collaboration concerning the commercial rights of Ataluren. Under the original agreement, PTC held commercial rights for the U.S. and Canada, and Genzyme held commercial rights in all other countries. Under the restructured agreement, PTC regains worldwide rights to the treatment, except for indications not currently commercialized.

Clark Holdings Inc., a provider of logistical services to the print media industry, in Trenton, announced Thursday it will merge with an affiliate of The Gores Group LLC, under which Gores will acquire all of the outstanding equity of Clark. Clark’s stockholders will receive 46 cents in cash for each share of Clark common stock they hold at the time of the merge.

ConvaTec Inc., in the Skillman section of Montgomery Township, announced Thursday it has acquired Boston Medical Device Inc., a distribution company that offers a platform of specialized medical devices throughout Latin America.
