Level 3 Communications Inc. and Global Crossing Limited announced Thursday the U.S. Department of Justice has cleared Level 3’s previously announced acquisition of Florham Park-based Global Crossing.

Investment Partners Asset Management, in Metuchen, announced Thursday it sent a letter to the board of directors of Eastman Kodak Co., imploring the board to immediately proceed to sell Kodak in its entirety to a larger concern that has resources to commercialize the company’s intellectual property more efficiently. IPAM manages several portfolios with shares of Eastman Kodak.
