Pacira expands launch team; patent countersuit; business banking partnership

Pacira Pharmaceuticals Inc., in Parsippany, announced Tuesday it has entered into agreements with Quintiles Commercial U.S. Inc. and Integrated Commercialization Services Inc. to support the anticipated launch of Exparel, an injectable drug, should it be approved by the Food and Drug Administration.
Inttra, a Parsippany-based provider of e-commerce solutions for the ocean freight industry, announced Friday it has filed counterclaims against GT Nexus Inc. alleging GT’s supply-chain management platform infringes several Inttra patents. Oakland-based GT on May 2 filed suit alleging Inttra’s Common Carrier System patents are invalid, and not infringed by GT’s platform.
