Derma Sciences announces rights agreement with Korean company

Derma Sciences Inc., a medical device and pharmaceutical company focused on advanced wound care, announced today it has signed a long-term exclusive global rights agreement with New Cast Industries Co. Ltd., of Korea.The agreement concerns the casting element within its TCC-EZ total contact casting system, according to a Derma Sciences release. Derma, of Princeton, plans to begin sales of the system in markets throughout Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Latin America as soon as regional regulatory clearances allow. The five-year agreement has automatic renewals and no sales minimums.
