The New Jersey Devils announced a multiyear partnership with U.K.-based sponsorship agency Eleven Sports Media Thursday. The matchup aims to create and execute community-driven sports partnerships for local businesses here in the great Garden State.

Through the newly launched Affiliate Partner Program, the two organizations are offering brand exposure for small to medium-sized businesses in New Jersey. The initiative provides access for these statewide businesses to valuable products, services, assets and avenues that are typically only available for national and blue-chip brands.

Some examples include:

• In-bowl branding within Prudential Center for Devils home games;
• Junior Captain spotlight;
• Digital exposure via official team social channels and website;
• Experiential opportunities throughout the season.

Eleven offers an all-encompassing solution for marketing and activation services that provides partners with the tools and services to maximize the partnership’s potential.

Big league

This collaboration with the Devils marks the debut of Eleven’s model in the National Hockey League.

“Eleven is passionate about delivering real value to small business communities around elite sports teams, across European soccer, the NFL, and the MLS,” said Matt Cairns, CEO and founder of Eleven Sports Media. “We’re excited to bring this expertise to the NHL and empower local businesses through our partnership with the Devils.”

Cairns noted the tri-state area marked Eleven’s introduction to the U.S. market back in 2021.

“It’s an area we know well after delivering two successful small business programs in the region,” said Cairns. “Now, we’re thrilled to return with a purpose-built model specifically for New Jersey.”

In a press release, Jake Reynolds, president, New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center, said that the great thing about this partnership is bringing together two innovative companies.

“We take a tremendous amount of pride in being New Jersey’s only professional sports team,” said Reynolds. “To be the first NHL team to partner with Eleven on this Affiliate Program is incredible and we’re excited to be able to bring this to life.”
