The New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center last week announced a multiyear partnership with Clover Sport for the point-of-sale solutions company to streamline the purchasing experience for fans attending games and other events at the Rock.

Clover Sport’s system combines leading point-of-sale hardware and software with back-office management tools, enabling arenas, stadiums and entertainment venues of all sizes to provide faster, more convenient purchasing experiences that integrate seamlessly with back-of-house operations. The system gives operators access to real-time data that can be utilized to optimize operations and increase profitability.

As part of the partnership, the Devils and will utilize Clover Sport as the venue’s fully integrated commerce operating system. The addition of more than 300 Clover devices at concession stands throughout the arena offering cashless and touchless capabilities will mean shorter wait times for fans, according to officials.

More than 300 sports entertainment venues use Clover Sport to power its stadium operations, including over 50 here in the U.S.

“We are excited to introduce Clover Sports at concession stands throughout Prudential Center,” said Sasha Puric, chief technology officer, Sports Entertainment, which operates Prudential Center. “Improving our technology and creating a more convenient checkout experience for our fans is of top priority and Clover Sport will be one of the enablers to help us reach that goal.”

Clover Sport Vice President and General Manager Sandeep Bhanote says today’s fans expect digital, mobile and self-service purchasing options when they attend a game, concert or show.

“We’re proud to partner with Prudential Center, providing Devils fans more ways to pay and speeding checkout times so they can spend less time in line and more time watching their team on the ice,” said Bhanote.
