Greg Adami is joining the Diversified Properties team as chief financial officer and chief operations officer.
Adami’s appointment was announced Nov. 23 by the commercial and residential real estate developer and owner.
“Greg brings strategic mindset and a demonstrated track record of success to this dual position,” said Diversified Properties Founding and Managing Partner Nicholas Minoia. “We welcome him to the team as we know he will be a tremendous asset in assisting with the management of the firm’s continued growth and helping us seamlessly execute our investment strategy in the years to come.”
Described in his hiring announcement as “a self-motivated agent of change,” Adami is tasked with streamlining the Diversified Properties’ operations and finance departments with new operational workflow efficiencies, the restructuring of manual processes, and improving adoption of real estate and business technologies, the firm said.
Adami comes to the position with nearly 20 years’ experience. Previously, he served as director of operations for a Manhattan-based multibillion-dollar family-owned real estate owner and management company. There, Diversified said, he was the main point of contact for addressing issues and providing strategic direction and was involved with the operations, development, finance, marketing and leasing teams.
Before that, Adami was a supervising consultant for Grant Thornton Management Consulting.
“In the commercial real estate industry, Diversified Properties stands alone in its ability to execute the most complex and challenging real estate projects. I look forward to working closely with its leadership team to build upon this reputation and drive operational excellence to ensure the firm’s continued ability to capitalize on opportunities in an increasingly complex and competitive real estate market,” Adami said.
