Domino’s pressed product plant in Edison – where the world’s largest pizza chain manufactures Domino’s thin crust for approximately half the country – is looking to hire 30-plus production workers.
The 40,000-square-foot facility utilizes automated technology to maximize production time, including new mixing and ingredient systems, a new quality control process and new-generation machines.
Approximately 7,500 individual thin crust shells are packaged per hour at the plant.
Domino’s pressed product plant opened in June of 2020 “in an effort to support the brand’s continued growth,” according to Anthony Costa, Domino’s supply chain center director in New Jersey. The pizza maker secured the property in June 2017.
