RVM Enterprises Inc., an e-discovery technical solutions firm, has accepted a 10-year, $8.1 million Grow New Jersey tax incentive from the state Economic Development Authority to move its headquarters from New York City to Jersey City, it announced Tuesday. The opening of the Jersey City office, at the Newport Tower, 525 Washington Blvd., would be an expansion from the current headquarters on Rector Street in downtown Manhattan. The EDA had said the deal would shift 112 jobs to New Jersey, although RVM said it would maintain a New York presence.
“RVM’s growth is a continuing testament to our commitment to customer service, innovative solutions and client satisfaction,” CEO Vinnie Brunetti said in a prepared statement. “We look forward to our expansion to New Jersey and the opportunity it gives us to broaden our outreach to the legal community.”
RVM, which serves corporations and law firms, said the move to the Jersey City waterfront is slated for spring 2017.
The EDA said the move would return $15.5 million to the state over 20 years.
