E. Rutherford consumer products maker faces class-action suit

Plaintiff alleges false and misleading claims concerning product made by CCA Industries Inc.Consumer goods maker CCA Industries Inc. (NYSE: CAW), in East Rutherford, said Thursday it is facing a class-action lawsuit concerning one of its products.
The suit, filed by Denise Wally, alleges false and misleading claims by the company for a product sold in California.
CCA said the claims are without merit, and it plans to fight the suit. The company said the suit did not specify any damages and was filed in the Superior Court of the State of California, County of Los Angeles, and Central Civil West.
CCA makes health and beauty aids under such labels as Plus White toothpaste.
