An Eatontown sports video network has been acquired by a Florida mobile sports platform, it said Monday.OneUp Sports, headquartered in Palm Beach Gardens, will integrate CineSport’s video platform and programming services into its team and league fan engagement platforms, it said in a news release.
“We are excited to integrate the digital video technology that Gregg Winik and CineSport have developed into the growing array of OneUp platforms,” Daren Trousdell, OneUp’s CEO, said in a prepared statement. “I am confident that this acquisition will provide our advertisers a large and targeted digital audience available all on one platform.”
While CineSport will now be able to add mobile and app tools to the services it provides to news and blog sites, OneUp’s team app platform will now have increased digital services and revenue-generating features.
“This arrangement is the culmination of CineSport’s evolution to a mobile-first approach, and now we have an array of new mobile products to offer our publishers,” Winik, founder and CEO of CineSport, said in a statement. “This transaction provides immediate scale; scale of services for our partners and scale of audience for our advertisers.”
OneUp has partnerships with teams in the NBA, NFL and NHL, while CineSport partners with publications including the Boston Globe and Philadelphia Inquirer.
