Under the resolutions, three sites - Hope Creek, and Salem 1 and 2 - are getting a combined $300 million in annual subsidies over three years, totaling $900 million.

The Asbury Park-based company said that 51% of the electricity produced from sites in Teterboro and Pennsauken will be sold to low- and moderate-income households.

The goals laid out in a letter to the president follow a suite of similar efforts by New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts and Connecticut to phase in zero-emissions vehicles.

The project is part of the Camden-based utility's multimillion-dollar initiative to accelerate the renewal of water infrastructure that has reached the end of its useful life in more than 100 communities across the state.

Once completed, the Camden County facility at the Paulsboro Marine Terminal will produce steel components known as monopiles, which hoist up the structure of the turbine.

Consumers can send in all empty plastic tubes from the frozen treats to to be recycled for free using a prepaid shipping label.

The deal is expected to enhance operational and financial flexibility through the vertical integration of its supply chain.

“From creating jobs and strengthening the economy to investing in infrastructure and bringing gigawatts of renewable energy to our coast, offshore wind is critical to New Jersey’s future,” PSEG President and CEO Ralph Izzo said.

Stevens Institute of Technology will source 100% of its electricity directly from a local renewable energy source beginning this fall.
