Energy company pays 61.4M for six Bulgarian projects

Keyport-based renewable energy company Energiz Renewable Inc. said Tuesday it has signed a letter of intent to purchase six Bulgarian power projects for $61.4 million.Helios Power and its half-dozen turnkey projects are being sold, with Archfeld LLP acting as the seller’s agent. The projects produce a total of 17.842 MWp, Energiz said in a news release.

“The acquisition of Helios, an operating profitable business, will fit in with our strategic plan in the region that currently includes both Turkey and Bulgaria,” David Brown, chairman of Energiz, or ERIP, said in a prepared statement.
