Global executive search firm ZRG is continuing to expand—adding to its team a former vice chairman for two of the world’s largest search firms.
Pete Metzger, who brings 20 years of experience and specialty in the government, cyber and security industries, joined ZRG as managing director and senior advisor, the company announced Thursday.
“As a U.S. Marine Officer, he was decorated for valor on three occasions and further served as a foreign intelligence officer in the CIA,” Chief Executive Officer Larry Hartmann said in a prepared statement. “As the Marine Military Aide to the president of the United States, he was responsible for providing crisis-based information and options to the commander-in-chief, as well as managing Department of Defense assets that support the president.”
Added Metzger: “I have been a part of several successful teams throughout my military, government, and executive search career. The team assembled here, in my opinion, is made up of some of the best and talented in the world. Even more, it embodies the true essence of the whole being greater than the sum of its parts,” Metzger said.
And, the Rochelle Park-based firm said it was bringing on even more assets to that team, with Shelley Scott, Brian Kelly and Check Nees coming on board as managing directors.
Scott will work in the company’s Healthcare and Life Sciences practices; Kelley in the Healthcare practice; and Nees in the Technology practice.
