Finance exec leaves N.J. refining company for Texas firm

A New Jersey energy executive is headed to Texas as the new chief financial officer for refinery logistics company Western Refining Logistics GP LLC, it said earlier this week.Western Refining Logistics said Monday in a news release that Karen B. Davis, chief accounting officer for refining company PBF Energy and its PBF Logistics unit, will join the El Paso-based firm on or about Dec. 1.

“Karen brings extensive financial experience to WNRL and will be a great addition to our leadership team,” Jeff Stevens, Western Refining Logistics’ CEO and president, said in a prepared statement. “Together, (new Executive Vice President Gary Dalke) and Karen are uniquely qualified to provide the deep industry and financial leadership and structure required to guide WNRL successfully into the future.”

Davis replaces Dalke, who was promoted to his new position after serving as chief financial officer since Western Refining Logistics was founded in July 2013.

She will also serve as director of investor relations for Western Refining Logistics’ sponsor, Western Refining Inc.
