Restaurant Week is presented by Explore Millburn-Short Hills, the entity that manages the local Special Improvement District; Opportunity Project, a local non-profit that offers programs for individuals living with brain injuries; and Millburn Township.

As part of Opportunity Project’s Brain Injury Awareness Month initiative, participating restaurants will raise money for the organization, and some will offer employment opportunities for those recovering from brain injuries.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Explore Millburn-Short Hills and local restaurants this March to support individuals living with brain injuries and raise awareness for their needs among the community,” said Michael Moran, Opportunity Project program director.

“For the past 29 years, Opportunity Project has served as a national model for other community-based service programs for those with a brain injury, especially because no one is ever denied services due to lack of financial resources. We encourage residents to provide their support for these individuals, as well as local businesses, while enjoying a fun night out,” Moran added.
