A Massachusetts company has named a new CEO and president: the former chairman of Alcatel-Lucent, the company formed in 2006 by the merger of Alcatel and Murray Hill-based Lucent Technologies.Serge Tchuruk will lead Joule, a fuel-conversion company, through the industrialization of its solar, carbon dioxide-to-fuel production platform. Tchuruk served as chairman of the board of Alcatel-Lucent from the time of the merger until 2008; he had been chairman and CEO of Alcatel prior to the deal.
That was his most recent leadership position before joining the board of Joule in July, according to the company’s news release.
