Former Gibbons PC Director Steve Reynolds, who recently retired as executive vice president, general counsel, and secretary of Philadelphia-based uniform purveyor Aramark, has rejoined the firm.
Reynolds joins as director in the commercial and criminal litigation department. He spent 16 years at Gibbons before 2005, when he left to serve as global counsel to telecommunications firm Alcatel-Lucent, and then Aramark. He also served as vice president of litigation at Aventis and Sanofi-Aventis.
Reynolds navigated Aramark through its IPO in 2013 and managed the legal and regulatory issues in the acquisitions of Avendra and AmeriPride in 2018. At Lucent, he managed the legal and regulatory issues related to its 2006 merger with Alcatel, as well as negotiated the 2010 settlement of a major global Foreign Corrupt Practices Act investigation.
His practice at Gibbons will focus on helping clients in matters of complex litigation, regulatory, corporate governance and compliance matters.
