Sequential Technology International, a business processing outsourcing space, announced that a former AT&T executive has been named its CEO.Kent Mathy, a telecom industry veteran with more than 35 years of experience, is the new head of Warren-based STI.
“STI is incredibly fortunate to have an executive of Kent’s caliber joining us to lead our exceptional team of employees dedicated to providing customer care and other solutions to the telecom, financial and legal industries, and other industry verticals,” John Methfessel, chairman of STI, said in a prepared statement. “We made our recent acquisition (of activation assets from Synchronoss Technologies) with the intention of building a global brand of industry leading customer care solutions and Kent is the perfect executive to lead our company and strategic vision into its next phase of growth for the future.”
Mathy most recently served as AT&T’s Southeast region president.
