Luisa Martino joined Kearny Bank as first vice president and business banking manager, the bank announced March 2.
Martino leads the Fairfield-based bank’s team of business relationship officers while partnering with the retail, treasury, and lending departments to expand business and sales activities.
Kearny’s business relationship officers provide clients with professional counsel and access to a range of financial products and services throughout New Jersey, Brooklyn, and Staten Island. Martino will develop the team’s overall strategic direction while making mentoring, coaching, and overall professional development available to individual officers.
“In bringing Luisa aboard, our goal was further enhancement of our business banking capabilities,” says Kearny Bank Executive Vice President and Chief Banking Officer Anthony Bilotta in a prepared statement. “I’m confident she’ll play a valuable role in doing just that, both through managing the business relationship officers and interacting with the senior members of our other departments.”
Martino was most recently vice president and small business market director for Santander Bank, and all in brings almost two decades of banking experience with her to Kearny in the business, retail, wealth, investments, lending, payroll, and treasury sectors.
