The new company would undertake software development work for Franklin Electronic and Keysbond products.Franklin Electronic Publishers (Amex: FEP), a maker of electronic handheld reference devices, and Hong KongÂs Keysbond today announced a joint venture to start a new software-development company. Embedded Linguistic Solutions will be based in Hong Kong. Franklin has contracted with Keysbond, an electronics-design and manufacturing company, since 2001. The new company would undertake software development work for Franklin Electronic and Keysbond products. In July, Franklin Electronics acquired German data-conversion company Kreutzfeldt Electronic Publishing. Shares of the Burlington-based Franklin Electronic opened at $2.10 this morning.
