An independent energy development company based in South Jersey said Wednesday it is welcoming new leadership.
Gary Fromer will take over as DCO Energy’s chief executive officer, effective June 1, when company founder Frank DiCola retires from his role as co-CEO to become executive chairman of the board for DCO and DB Energy Assets.
Fromer and DiCola served as co-CEOs over the past several months. Before joining the company, Fromer served as a senior executive at Constellation Energy, as CEO of CPower Inc. and as a senior executive at SAP, DCO said.
According to the company DiCola, who founded DCO with Joe and Michael Jingoli in 2000, will continue to provide leadership for key projects.
“I respect Gary Fromer and know he is well-respected throughout our industry as a growth-focused leader,” DiCola said in a prepared statement. “The executive management team led by Joe and Michael Jingoli and I are fully invested in continuing to provide world-class distributed energy services for our customers and continuing to grow the DCO Energy platform with Gary at the helm.”
