Michael McQueeny was promoted to counsel at Genova Burns LLC in Newark, effective Jan. 1.
McQueeny, who has been an associate at the firm since 2013, will continue to co-chair the firm’s cannabis law practice.
In his capacity as co-chair of the cannabis law group, McQueeny advises investors, processors, distributors, retailers and cultivators on issues regarding licensing, funding and operation, as well as advising cannabis and CBD-related entities on federal and state legislation, regulations and local laws governing the growth, processing, sale and use of cannabis.
