With 10 tenants, a fully occupied retail center in Glen Rock has a new owner.
Cushman & Wakefield announced arranging the sale of the 24,353-square-foot neighborhood retail center at 886-924 Prospect St. May 28. Managing Director Andrew Schwartz, Director Jordan Sobel, Senior Associate André Balthazard and Associate Dan Bottiglieri represented the seller, Rock Glen Associates LLC. Elmwood Park-based Brentwood Realty acquired the property, CushWake said.
“This sale highlights the continued appeal of prime retail assets in Bergen County,” Schwartz said. “With the property hitting the market for the first time in over 48 years, its full occupancy and diverse tenant lineup attracted substantial attention, leading to more than 30 offers.”
Financial terms were not disclosed.
In its 2025 North Jersey retail investment forecast, Marcus & Millichap projected retail investment would accelerate amid a “historically tight” market. The report noted in particular “that rising residential density in Bergen and Essex counties should support consumer demand for grocery and drug stores.”
Anchored by Rock Farmers Market, the Glen Rock retail center also features renowned Jewish deli Kosher Nosh. Dunkin’ occupies an end cap space. Last month, Rock Farmer’s Market drew 39,400 visits to the center, according to Placer.ai data.
The Prospect Street plaza sits on a 2.8-acre lot, offering 506 feet of frontage, according to Cushman & Wakefield. The firm said daily vehicle counts surpass 12,000. With two points of egress onto Prospect Street, the property is also offers access to the Garden State Parkway along with Routes 4 and 17 within 4 miles.
