In preparation for the start of his term, Gov.-elect Phil Murphy has named six Meadowlands leaders to his transition team.Murphy named Meadowlands Regional Chamber President and CEO Jim Kirkos and President of Ramapo College Dr. Peter Mercer to the urban and regional growth committee.
Jose Lozano, current vice president of Hackensack Meridian Health and former assistant Secretary of State for economic, energy and business affairs was named director of transition policy committees. Murphy’s appointed housing team includes Axiom Communications President and Meadowlands Area YMCA Chairman Ron Simoncini and Waters McPherson McNeill P.C. member David McPherson.
Murphy appointed Bernadette McPherson to his transition counsel and Tammy Molinelli, executive director of Bergen County Workforce Development, to the labor and workforce development committee.
