New laws improve stroke care; disclose prescription pricing

“Strokes are one of the leading causes of death for New Jersey residents, with nearly 3,500 mortalities in 2017,” said a sponsor of one of the pieces of legislation, state Sen. Daniel Benson. “Many other victims also suffer long-term disabilities as a result of this medical emergency. That is why this law aims to ensure the implementation of an extensive statewide system of stroke care.”
