What does the new year hold for New Jersey’s food manufacturers and distributors?
Grassi, a New York-based accounting firm, and the New Jersey Food Processors Association (NJFPA), are once again conducting their annual benchmarking survey to assess the state of the industry.
In a Jan. 4 press release, the organizations announced the launch of the questionnaire and invited leaders of food manufacturing and distribution companies in both New Jersey and New York to weigh in online.
Launched in 2021, the questionnaire is designed to assess the state of the industry locally, as well as identify trends over the past 12 months. It also aims to pinpoint opportunities and challenges for the year ahead.
The 2023 survey, which is presented in partnership with Crain’s New York Business, will focus on shifting consumer demands, supply chain disruptions and volatility in ingredient pricing, along with other factors that have impacted operations.
Individual responses are confidential and will be compiled in the aggregate by independent researchers.
To request a copy of the survey findings when they are released or to speak with a Grassi Manufacturing & Distribution professional or an NJFPA leader to learn more, contact Corin Huff, senior communications manager, at 201-808-9736 or [email protected].
According to the results of 2022’s assessment – which elicited feedback from professionals in every sector of the food and beverage industry – companies, overall, are embracing opportunities to improve their businesses, despite ongoing challenges.
