Judah Skoff has joined Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP as a partner in the litigation department, the firm announced on Wednesday.
He concentrates his practice in complex civil and commercial litigation, with a particular focus on business disputes including contract claims, creditors’ rights, bankruptcy and other insolvency litigation, business divorces, partnership disputes, real estate litigation and construction litigation.
He joins the firm from McCarter & English where he spent more than a decade, most recently as special counsel in the firm’s business litigation group, according to his LinkedIn.

Skoff has represented joint venturers, startups, partners, banks, large and mid-market businesses, trustees, insurance companies, developers, lenders and special servicers. He has litigated an array of business cases including those involving claims of fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, business and traditional torts, fraudulent transfers, preferences, negligent design, and professional negligence.
Litigation Department Chair John North said in a prepared statement that Skoff’s “well-developed practice in business litigation and his expertise in creditors’ rights adds to our existing depth in those areas of practice.”
Skoff is a member of the firm’s alternative dispute resolution, banking and financial services litigation, and bankruptcy and financial restructuring practice groups.
He is based in Greenbaum Rowe’s Woodbridge office.
