GreenShift Announces New Hire

Patrick Thornton has been appointed as vice president of finance.GreenShift (Nasdaq: GSHF) today announced that Patrick Thornton has joined the company as vice president of finance. Previously he was a partner at Shamrock Partners, a New York City-based private equity investment group where he was responsible for identifying acquisition targets, structuring and negotiating deals, obtaining financing, performing due diligence, and integrating acquired companies.

Thornton holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Pennsylvania State University. GreenShift is a business development company that develops and supports companies and technologies that facilitate the efficient use of natural resources. Company shares opened at $0.152 today.
