Hackensack Meridian Health announced on Tuesday it is collaborating with Microsoft to advance the network’s health care information technology transformation and deliver solutions that improve experiences for their patients and team members.
Using Microsoft Azure, the Microsoft’s cloud computing platform, Hackensack Meridian Health will improve efficiency, strengthen security and provide flexibility, enabling team members to offer the highest quality care.
Microsoft Azure provides cloud service offerings to help organizations meet business objectives and tackle technology challenges. Hackensack Meridian Health, which has grown exponentially in recent years, will use Microsoft Azure to advance its hybrid-cloud strategy. A hybrid-cloud platform combines public and private clouds to allow organizations to scale their resources securely from on-premises to the cloud in a secure way.
“We are thrilled to announce our collaboration with Microsoft today, which will further strengthen our culture of innovation,” said Robert C. Garrett, chief executive officer of Hackensack Meridian Health in a statement. “Microsoft Azure will ensure our growing network and dedicated team members have the flexibility, efficiency and security they need to focus on what we do best: providing high-quality care to our patients.”
Microsoft’s cloud service offerings will give Hackensack Meridian Health’s growing network the capacity and flexibility it needs to scale up and down. This cloud approach is cost-effective and allows the network to take advantage of resources when needed. Hackensack Meridian Health will use Microsoft Azure as part of a multi-cloud strategy.
