Pallone discusses legislation to lower prescription drug costs

Last month, U.S. Rep. Frank Pallone introduced the Lower Drug Costs Now Act, which would lower scripted drug costs by allowing the federal government to negotiate reduced prices for Americans, stopping drug companies from charging more in the U.S. than in other countries for the same drugs, and creating a $2,000 out-of-pocket limit on prescription drug costs for seniors through Medicare Part D.
