The New Brunswick drugmaker's first-quarter income grew from nearly $5.8 billion in 2020 to $6.2 billion in 2021.

Members of the organization's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices stressed during an emergency meeting that they did not have enough information to issue a firm decision on how public health officials should employ the dose.

None of the mega-sites have been affected, nor was Hackensack Meridian Health in Bergen County, according to Health Commissioner Judith Persichilli. "The large sites are keeping the appointments and filling them with Moderna or Pfizer," she said.

“With the growing primary care needs of our community, health equity lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic, a budding, post-pandemic mental health crisis, and the community’s demand for more comprehensive and specialized care, our current facilities are bursting at the seams,” according to the facility's president and CEO, Shereef Elnahal.
