Natural Systems Utilities LLC, a distributed water infrastructure company, has named Robert D. Dixon its chief executive officer, it announced Monday.Dixon, who will also serve as a board director, has more than 30 years of experience in growth management. That includes serving as CEO of Seven Seas Water Corporation, a company that designs, owns and operates water and wastewater plants.

“I am excited to be at the helm of a company with such outstanding talent and look forward to taking the company forward successfully to the next level,” he said in a prepared statement. “NSU is a technology differentiated infrastructure company, and my prior experiences establishing long-term water, industrial gases and power generation systems are clearly on point for the distributed water and biogas opportunities for which the company is so well positioned.”

The Hillsborough company said William R. Massa, who has run the company as managing director since June, will remain on the board.

Dixon will be the third company leader this year, following Massa and Charles R. Gordon, who resigned in May after less than three months on the job.
