Saucey, a Hoboken-based alcohol delivery app that offers customers the ability to have beer, wine and spirits dropped right at their doorsteps, is launching its services in New Jersey.

In a Nov. 2 press release, the company announced nearly three dozen municipalities across northern New Jersey, including its hometown, can now utilize the service and that it will soon expand its coverage area throughout the state.

Launched in 2014, Saucey allows customers to purchase alcohol and convenience store items, like cigarettes, vapes, chips and ice cream, and have their order delivered within a chosen scheduled timeframe.

After growing in popularity during COVID-related lockdowns, like other delivery platforms, Saucey worked to expand its business and has grown its national footprint over the past two years to include 1,000 cities across 19 states.

Saucey Vice President of Operations Chris Shon said, “We’re thrilled to expand in New Jersey. It’s an important market and carries a uniqueness from New York where a wider variety of categories can be offered, like beer. We’re looking forward to bringing these new opportunities to adults in New Jersey, so they too can experience top-notch on-demand delivery with Saucey.”

According to the company, Saucey is now available in: Wanaque, Oakland, Butler, Riverdale, Pequannock, Wayne, Fairfield, Woodland Park, Totowa, Paterson, Fair Lawn, Hawthorne, Glen Rock, Ridgewood, Paramus, Westwood, Hillsdale, Woodcliff Lake, Bergenfield, Teaneck, Hackensack, Englewood, Little Falls, Clifton, Passaic, Teterboro, East Rutherford, Montclair, Bloomfield, North Bergen, West Orange, Secaucus, East Orange, Kearny, Hoboken, Newark, Irvington, Springfield, Hillside, Westfield and Clark.
