Dauphin North America, the office seating manufacturer, plans to overhaul its facility in Boonton by converting nearly 100,000 square feet of warehouse space to a production and distribution center, the manager of the project said today.
The firm, Hollister Construction Services, said the project will entail “extensive demolition and concrete work” at the Fulton Street facility. The project also includes renovations of 21,000 square feet of office space and 7,000 square of showroom space, along with new lighting and HVAC equipment, according to a new release from Hollister
Dauphin, which moved to the Boonton facility in 1997, is the U.S.-based subsidiary of a German company.
The Hollister news release did not include additional details, including a timeline for the project.
