The New Jersey Department of Community Affairs introduced the 2005 Wachovia Housing Scholars at its annual luncheon held at The Newark Club.The New Jersey Department of Community Affairs introduced the 2005 Wachovia Housing Scholars at its annual luncheon held at The Newark Club. The Housing Scholars program provides summer internships to college students interested in issues related to
affordable housing and community development. A $90,000 grant from Wachovia provides the students with a 10-week, hands-on experience, working with nonprofit providers of affordable housing throughout New Jersey.
