Familiar travel-retailer Hudson Group announced Tuesday its awarding of a 10-year contract for nine additional spots at the Philadelphia International Airport.
According to the East Rutherford-based company, the agreement will more than double its footprint at the airport with over 17,000 square feet of food and beverage, and retail space at Terminals A, D, E, F and the B/C Connector.
Hudson Group currently operates brands at the airport including Dunkin’ Donuts, Hudson, Life is Good and Kiehl’s and has begun to add specialty stores like Coach, Hudson News, and Vera Bradley. An FAO Schwarz will arrive later this year, the company said.
“We’re excited to deepen our commitment to Philadelphia International Airport with expanded and new retail concepts that modernize the travel experience for PHL’s nearly 32 million annual passengers,” said Roger Fordyce, chief executive officer of Hudson Group. “This new contract win and extension agreement reflect our focus on maximizing our passenger traffic exposure in North America’s top airports, while also diversifying the concepts and products we offer to better meet the needs of travelers.”
